1、胶合性新
实木地板采用的是天然木材，未经任何粘结处理。而实木复合地板则是采用胶粘剂涂饰板面热压而成的，所以胶合性能是产品重要的质量指标，将直接影响到产品的使用功能和寿命。
2、耐水性
耐水性能差将导致地板周边发生明显膨胀，引起地板起拱。
含水率是直接影响地板尺寸稳定性的重要因素，通常木地板的含水率应与当地的含水率相一致，否则地板在环境变化时都会产生不同程度的尺寸变化，因此我们在购买时应该注意所选购地板的含水率是否符合国家标准要求。
3、阻燃性
由于对于木地板的阻燃性能不能要求太高，简单的测试方法可以用香烟摆放在地板表面，待燃烧结束后，地板没有烫出不可清除的痕迹如无龟裂、黑斑、鼓泡就表示阻燃性能合格。
4、耐磨性
强化木地板具有良好的耐磨性是因为在它表面有耐磨层，我们在产品说明上所见到的6000~18000r就表示耐磨度，这也对应了其耐磨层中刚玉磨料的含量。国家标准中规定，4000r以上的产品就已适合家庭使用，而公共场合则必须在9000r以上。
5、漆面处理
和强化木地板不同的是，实木地板和实木复合地板的板面经过油漆加工，挑选时应检查漆面要均匀、光洁、平整。无漏漆、无气泡、无龟裂。
6、甲醛含量
实木复合地板和强化木地板在胶粘剂中含有一定量的甲醛，它会以气态形式向周围环境中逐步释放，当人们处于甲醛浓度较高的环境中，眼睛、鼻腔以及呼吸道就会发生不适，危害身体健康。
